We have two clinics, one in Harlow, Essex and one in Puckeridge, Hertfordshire. Clinic Locations
Both are fully accessible and have free parking.
Please aim to arrive 5 minutes before your appointment start time.
If you are a new patient, or haven’t been in treatment in over 6 months, you will be required to complete a new consent form. These are usually sent in advance via email, but we do have paper forms in-clinic.
Please allow for traffic when travelling to your appointments, especially during rush hour and school run times.
Harlow – Parking at the Harlow Leisurezone is done via ANPR. When you arrive at the car park the machine will read your registration plate. When you are finished and ready to leave the building, you can put your registration number in our tablet on our reception desk. This will reduce your parking charge to zero and you will have 30-minutes to leave the car park.
If you are in the car park for less than 30 minutes you can leave the car park without using the ANPR system.
Puckeridge – There is parking within the grounds of our Puckeridge clinic. Come in through the main gates and there are spaces available on the left hand side.
You do not need to be a member of the Harlow Leisurezone to use our Harlow clinic, we are open to all members of the public. You must book an appointment in advance.

The therapist should have access to the area that requires treatment. With upper limb, neck and back injuries be prepared that the therapist may ask you to remove items of clothing. It may be easier for you to bring shorts with you if the issue is concerning the lower limb.
You can request a male or female practitioner when you book your appointment.
Suffering with pain can be overwhelming and our main focus when first meeting you as a patient is to ensure that you walk out from the first session having a full understanding of your diagnosis, the treatment we can offer and, more importantly, what you can do to help yourself over the course of rehabilitation. We have found that some putting your mind at rest and making sure you fully understand your condition can go a long way on its own to getting on top of your pain.
Our therapists will begin your assessment first by discussing the history of the injury, taking a clear medical history and finding out just how your pain or injury is affecting you. As part of the first session you will generally receive some hands-on treatment, but that does depend on how complex your condition is.
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please inform us at least 24 hours before your treatment. If you fail to inform us within 24 hours’ of your appointment you will be charged a full session fee.
If you would like to move your appointment to another time in the same day, we can do that for you if there is availability, without a late cancellation charge.
You can email us at info@varneygreenphysio.co.uk, call us on 01279 414959 (leave a voicemail if it is out of hours) or log into your online booking account to make, change and cancel appointments.
